Animated guide for safe delivery work

In delivery work, unsafe practices can still be encountered, such as loose parcels stored in the cabin. A new animation produced in co-operation with the Finnish Road Safety Council illustrates safe working methods when working with a delivery vehicle.

“The most important thing is that those working in the industry know how to recognise and avoid the pitfalls that incorrect loading of a vehicle can cause,” says Tuomas Nissinen, Senior Specialist at the Centre for Occupational Safety.

The animation shows concrete examples of safe working practices when loading a delivery vehicle and cabin. It is suitable for all delivery workers and workplaces as a work guidance and orientation aid. The animation can also be used on training courses.

“Increasingly, delivery work involves transportation by different vehicles, so loading and working with delivery vehicles is an important part of the work. Occupational safety is also an essential component. I find this animation to be valuable for practical work. The Finnish Road Safety Council also played a key role in the project succeeding,” says Marko Koivumäki, Chairman of the Branch Committee for Telecommunication and Logistics.

The animation was produced by the Centre for Occupational Safety’s Branch Committee for Telecommunication and Logistics and the Finnish Road Safety Council.

The video is available with subtitles in English, Finnish and Swedish.

The video is subtitled in English. You can turn on the subtitles by pressing the subtitles icon.
